Enough food to feed 10 adults and have left overs for about $10per person, quality food ready quick and on time even during a lunch rush. 😁

The food was great, Service was excellent. All in all a great experience.

December 29/2018 Apparently ... "New Haven" is the only place in the town of Bracebridge, to order chinese food. After a few bad experiences, DUE TO LANGUAGE BARRIERS and "mixed up" orders ( at my expense)...I am frustrated. Last night's order was over an hour late, was STONE COLD, and missing condiments, like soya sauce and sweet 'n sour sauce, even the fortune cookies, which I love ! I tried other restaurants to order chinese food from. Hong Kong Buffet doesn't have a contact #... IF they are even open now. I called the Old Station... who... on google website say they have chinese food. NOT TRUE !!! It's time for new changes. !! Until a new establishment opens up, and gives this lackluster business a run for their money.... I will NOT order from New Haven again !! I'll eat anything, other than chinese food, from here on in. PS : The ONLY reason I give it a 1 star rating, was because, in order to post this.... I HAD TO !!

Recently had the very worst service I'v ever had in Bracebridge. They got my take-out order wrong. I called immediately and let them know. They said I could come back and pick up the missing dishes. When I got there, I was told I was LYING to them to get free food! She said "There are too many liars in this town" Ive been coming here for 20 years - I'm not going to drive back to get some free chicken balls! They refused to give me the rest of my order. She took my receipt, and then when I asked for a refund, she said she didn't have my receipt. It was all quite unbelievable. She eventually "found" my receipt and gave me a refund - two hours after I placed my original order. If you don't like this town, feel free to sell your business to someone who cares,...and leave!

I've gone to New Haven since I was born, the only Chinese food my family EVER gets, and I've seen the place change owners a few times. The food is still the same, excellent as always, the service however is much different. I had dinner in there this week with my partner and what we experienced was extremely uncomfortable. The staff were full-on fighting in front of everyone in the restaurant, yelling and everything. I think they need to settle things behind closed doors, because this was the most unprofessional setting I've ever dined in. I'm really saddened to have to write this review about my favourite childhood restaurant.

Like the green tea a lot and of course the food

Awesome food and service! We moved up from Toronto last year and New Haven is the place to go for delicious Chinese food and fast, always friendly service. You won't be disappointed.

If you're looking for Chinese food in Bracebridge than this is the place to go. The food is excellent & with a huge menu. The service is awesome. Nice quiet atmosphere & the owners are excellent people. They treat you like family. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Try the chicken fried rice. It's one of the many delicious items available. Eat In. Or take out. Dinner time may be busy.

Service was terrible, the meal was served without covers and got cold, meal although ordered at same time did not come at the same time, had to remind the waitress to bring coffee and rest of meal twice. Totally understaffed. Too much breading on shrimp and chicken balls. Has a long way to go to achieve the quality of food and service the former owners had. Probably will not go back.

Worst experience ever I got hair in the food and she argued with me , saying I was lying. The Manager lady is really rude . Please stay away from this restaurant there other awesome restaurants out there in this place.

Awesome food and service!

In general, the food is pretty good. However the last 2 times I got take out, it didn’t sit so well. I get the feeling they changed an ingredient or something and it no longer agrees with me. And that’s a shame, because it is decent food.

Great Chinese food. I can't wait

This place is the worst experience at any restaurant I've been to. Came here for Mother's Day with family. Food wasn't fresh. Staff mixed up our order and half the table (including our mom) had to wait for 40 minutes for their plates to show up, after the first half received theirs, despite asking the server multiple times if the remaining food was going to come. When the owner came out, we said we shouldn't have to pay for overcooked food, she gave us a hard time, yelled at us and got in our face. The young girl behind the counter piped up like she knew what was going on.STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE! ...unless you like bland food and burnt rice, or an owner that yells at her employees while the restaurant can hear.Very unprofessional. They don't put the customer first.

Lemon chicken tasted "off" - fried items were overdone. Last few orders had issues as well. Used to be a good place.

Not very good

Wow...my boyfriend ordered dinner over the phone today. Let me tell you, we are local and eat here usually 3-4 x's a year, and have not encountered any problems. Tonight a different story. When the order was picked up 2 out of 5 items were wrong. So, we reordered and had to wait the extra 1/2 hour (in the empty restaurant at 5pm). We thought an honest mistake, having heard wrong over the phone. But when we got home...again an item was wrong....totally wrong! Totally disappointed!!! Not only was the craving for a specific item the fail of the meal, the food lacked luster. It was bland, not seasoned like usual, and really wasnt worth the price. Now we know why the restaurant was empty. I dont know what is going on...new owners....family members taken over....but we will not be purchasing there until some big changes and ratings get better. This place is failing the industry!!

They were crazy busy the phone was ring off the hook... but I felt if this place is this busy it's worth the wait. We were served fast and with a great waitress. She took our drinks order came back fast. food ordering g was fast It was made quick and to perfection. I have not had such a great Chinese meal in so long. Each plate we got was so good. Il be going back for sure, now that I found this gem. Thabks for a good night with my family!

Good food great staff

Recently moved here from Markham 7 months ago. Food at this place is delicious comparing it to the Chinese food in Markham! Staff are always friendly and welcoming! Prices are reasonable.

I used to love this place with previous owners, big portions, friendly people, big thumbs up.Sadly, new people, not,we politely asked if our regualr dish had changed, it had no ginger for one thing, lady with a weird headset on started actually shouting at us and stormed into kitchen, quite awful.

Such yummy food, everything was delicious. The people working there were so nice and friendly. The restaurant is small but cozy. Next time I'm in town I'm definitely going back, even if it's just for pick up

The food is not at all what it used to be. The chicken fried rice doesn't taste like rice at all Its so over cooked as to be mush.Lemon Chicken was dry and very little flavour at all. Spring rolls were doughy...really bad. Sorry we went there!

Very good food, friendly atmosphere and recently renovated interior. Been there many times and had a bunch of takeout orders without any issues.

Decent Canadian Chinese food, great service, fast preparation, decent parking. Not the best Chinese food I have ever had but the best of what I have tried in the Muskoka's.

If you are craving Chinese, this place is for you. Excellent Canadian Chinese ... better than average. Great wonton soup, hot and sour soup, lemon chicken and lemon shrimp a must try. Take out fresh and efficient. This is the best Chinese food in Muskoka! Clean and cheerful...friendly service.
